Meet the neighbors:

Mission: A community to bring like minded souls to live together harmoniously with the land in a sustainable manner using eco-friendly earthen building techniques, permaculture, alternative energy sources to eventually be fully off the grid. I envision Sedona Oasis and the surrounding landscape to be a seamless integration of living spaces, event spaces, and nature itself. I see it as an educational forum so others can learn from our collective vision. A place for visitors to enjoy farm to table meals, raw chocolate making, the wines of the area, yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, and simply connecting with their highest and best.

From www.ic.org/directory/sedona-oasis-2/:

After being in Sedona for 16 years and owning my own tour company for the last 13 years, I know that Northern Arizona is my home. For this land is purely magical, enchanted in fact. The way the rocks glow at sunset, the people that make up this vibrant community, the sacred waters the flow through Sedona. This town and area have everything that makes my heart sing with joy and gratitude.

For several years I have had a dream. My dream? I wish to start a collective of like-minded souls. Let’s bring our conscious intentions, love, grace, passion, together! For alone I’m just a single man, but with other like-minded souls, we can create something really special. In my vision, it’s called “Sedona Oasis”. It’s a community for the people to live together in harmony. A place where we can grow our own organic food together. Where there is such an abundance of food for not only ourselves, but also a surplus that we can supply the Sedona Foodbank, and offer local restaurants and wineries an organic food sources.

A place where we can build earthen structures to inhabit, living simply, using the materials from Mother Earth whether it be cob, strawbale, hempcrete, adobe, rammed earth, sand bags. A place where we can practice yoga, meditation, community cuddles, and any other forms of self improvement arts freely. A place where we can come together to dance our heart’s dance, sing our soul’s song, simply be. I see gardens and pyramid shaped greenhouses. I see an orchard of grape vines. Yes, I would like to follow in the footsteps of my great grandfather and make wine and also sell grapes to neighboring vineyards. I see an abundance of fruit trees. I see animals: dogs: cats: chickens, goats, ducks, perhaps even a horse. I see a heart-shaped pond on the property with a gentle red rock waterfall flowing through the property. Tucked in-between the trees are pathways to communicate with nature and yourself. I see hammocks, swings, yurts, and hobbit holes throughout the property.

I see a small youth hostel where budget-minded travelers can stay for under $20 a night. I see a small bed and breakfast where other travelers can stay and get to enjoy organic meals made on premises. I see a magnificent kitchen and community area where we can gather. I see an incredible commercial chocolate making the kitchen, where we can host chocolate making gatherings and workshops. I see an opportunity to form a co-op to bring an abundance of superfoods to not only the community but to the public. I have a vision. I have a dream. This vision is so close to coming to fruition: The land is there. 5.6 acres just minutes from west Sedona. there’s a well already present. The property borders national forest and is in an ideal location with views of the red rocks and Oak Creek.
