From www.ic.org/directory/bullimah-community-co-operative/:

Bullimah Community is a group of individuals who have come together to find a common purpose, to build our lives in the way that we see fit, and to live those lives together. We came together during many discussions, conversations and meetings during 2015/16 and decided on the Bullimah property in the village of Nymboida, NSW as our chosen place of residence. The property is owned by several friends of the group, and we intend to purchase it by mid 2017 and begin work making our homes here. The group has used a range of activities and techniques in our meetings to discover our commonality, our shared values, where our dreams and visions overlap and the ways in which we would like to live together. We have begun a long process of interweaving our lives to create an integrated, strong and harmonious community.
We envision a cohesive, strong but small group working on the property and locally, and weaving our lives and livelihoods into the Nymboida social fabric. We aim to support and provide infrastructure for craftspeople, artists, gardeners, food producers and other income streams and pastimes. One of our main aims is regenerative farming and organic food production.
The Bullimah property is comprised of 210 acres (84 hectares) of rolling hills, creek gullies, escarpment cliffs and dry sclerophyll bushland. It is located behind the village of Nymboida and has direct access to the heart of the village via Church St. It also fronts onto Armidale Rd on two boundaries.
The community will be made up of 13 shares, divided into two hamlets. The northern hamlet will be settled on a large north-facing hillside directly behind the village. It will be made up of 9 approximately half-acre (2000m2) shares, each with a building entitlement for one house. There is one existing house and a shed which will be refitted as our community house, with more buildings and workshops planned along with a shared laundry, shared orchard and garden, grazing land and other infrastructure.
The southern hamlet will be 4 half-acre shares situated on a gentle north-west facing meadow on the southern part of the property. These shares will be held in reserve until the community decides the number of residents should be increased (to help balance the demographics, welcome new families, provide income or other reasons).
The existing infrastructure includes a 4 bedroom house (which may become a community run bed and breakfast), a workshop shed, a campground and events space, mains 240v power, phone line, gravel driveway and fencing, as well as three dams.
