Detroit Cooperative EcoVillage forming

Mission: Our goal is a 100% Renewable Energy, Self-Sustaining Cohousing/Ecovillage Vegan Community with a central organic cooperative. An inclusive, diverse group to create an oasis where there is now a food desert and be supportive of each other by providing child, elderly and disabled care. True integration, real egalitarianism. In addition, we seek to have a companion site in Florida to supplement Detroit and give us good, hands on ground experience which we can then transplant/export to the North when Florida becomes too hot and/or sinks.

We are in the very beginning of forming. At present we have a general idea and seek like-minded, progressive people to join us in our venture.
