There is no group yet! But my husband and I are serious about wanting to live in community on the outskirts of Bend, Oregon.We have a young daughter and are primarily looking for a few other small families to join us in living simply, sharing a lot of space, life and labor. Beyond that we would also love to have a variety of ages involved.
Our ideal setup is small personal spaces and a large common house for most of our needs beyond privacy- cooking, playing, creating...this allows for comfortably working together on life chores and allows more time and resources for extracurriculars. Also, there can be frequent human connection and assistance without the scheduling and driving that modern life entails.
