Mission: Co-housing

From www.ic.org/directory/majbacken/:

Four persons started our community in 2004. We rent apartments in an eight stories house in central Gothenburg, Sweden. We are 35 persons living here, age 48-80. We share an active social life while growing old together. We have common dinner two days a week. We take car of the house by working together. We have celebration parties whenever we come up with a good reason. Film, literature, cards, traveling, and such is on the agenda. Why this? Because we think that living together keeps us younger, healthier, with less dementia, and above all, there will not be enough people to take care of us when the day comes when we cannot care for ourselves. So we will have to do it ourselves. Website www.majbacken.org
