Mission: consciousness, permaculture, sensuality, peace, justice, cooperation and autonomy.

From www.ic.org/directory/opihikao-ecovillage-and-kipuka-temple/:

In March 2013, we purchased 25 acres near the beach that had been a farm with macadamia, avocado, mango, and other fruit trees. In 2015 we completed our subdivision process and sold 5 3-acre lots within the ecovillage to like-minded friends into personal growth and sustainability. The community owns a 10 acre parcel in the back of the subdivision. We started building in 2016. We now have a beautiful dance/yoga/multipurpose space with an 1800 sq. ft. wooden dance floor as well as dining for 60, a glorious wood-fired hot tub, tons of food from the land such as: papayas, mangos, avocados, bananas, and many other exotic fruits.

The vision is for the Lolia Community LLC to own title to the property and lease the land to the Lolia Foundation which will run the center and host courses and events that support our values. We invite wwoofers and interns to join us and have an extended opportunity to live the practices of conscious sensuality and permaculture on a daily basis.

We are located near Kehena Beach, a clothing optional black sand beach and is an awesome place for yoga, swimming, snorkeling, and often frequented by dolphins who love to swim with people. We are a 20 minute drive from our local town of Pahoa and 45 minutes from the city of Hilo and the airport. The biking along the Puna coast on the red road is wonderful.

We share space so there is an opportunity to realize our true nature in the reflection of others. There is plenty of space in nature around here for times of solitude, reflection and grounding. There is also time to make money working in or outside the community.

We host the annual Hawaii Tantra Festival, Conscious Sensuality courses and many other events.
