We are a young family (2 26 year olds with a 2 year old and 4 year old and one on the way) looking to connect with like-minded people. We hope to start a small community over the next few years with a system of unconditional love, support, and respect for all at its core. We want to reach out and help empower people to make changes in their lives along with building a support group for ourselves. We hope to inspire and directly help create new communities, and wish to better connect them to each other, furthering the web of support.

We are currently in the beginning stages of developing 40 acres in Dallas, Oregon with gardens, orchards and small shelters. We have started with close to an acre of vegetable production that we work by hand. We are planning on establishing a viable permaculture farm in the coming years to support the property and community. We also plan to add chickens for eggs, bees for honey and beeswax, and sheep for wool.

Female empowerment, especially through natural childbirth and midwifery is the other side of the vision. We believe that through real food and natural birth things can change. Children that are born peacefully into the world, raised with love, fed with food from the earth, and are instilled with values that make earth stewardship, cooperation, and hardwork priority will have the type of leadership, appreciation of the earth, and love for all that can make changes in the world.

We want to surround ourselves with open-minded freethinkers, who wish to actively work together in creating a better world for future generations. We are looking for people with experience or interests in natural building, permaculture, biodynamics, homesteading, renewable energy, as well as education/homeschooling (nature-based, waldorf-inspired, etc), natural parenting, midwifery, natural childbirth, organizing and outreach, and working towards living truly fulfilling/meaningful lives!

We are looking for driven individuals with different ideas for marketing, businesses, or projects branching from the farm to help support the property. For example, growing and selling flowers, herbs and/or herbal products, and prepared vegetarian foods that can be sold at the markets that we are currently attending. Along with adding those options to our forming CSA. Other ideas might be to start a garden/farm/nature-centered, organic foods daycare program for the area. Or Holding classes and events (natural building, gardening, cooking, yoga, self-sufficiency, etc) - We'd love to consider other ideas.
