Overview: Our local community land trust, the Mott Haven/Port Morris Community Land Stewards, was established to acquire and hold in perpetuity real property to ensure that community members preserve a stake in a neighborhood profoundly impacted by decades of environmental injustice and economic neglect and to promote pathways to meaningful self- determination for, and to combat deterioration in, the Mott Haven/Port Morris community
