Founded in 1975, the Children's Nursery School (CNS) is a state-licensed co-operative nursery school in Portland's West End, offering a five-day program for 17 children, ages 3-5. Parents are not only the administrators of the school, they are the most important resources for the teachers, who depend on co-op members to bring their unique personal resources to create a curriculum that reflects each year's particular group.
