Meet the neighbors:

Mission: Provide a haven for individuals or families centered on personal transformation, communication, sustainability, sharing, and connection.

From www.ic.org/directory/community-forming-in-middle-tennessee/:

Our focus is to provide a judgment-free haven for individuals or families centered on personal transformation, communication, sustainability, sharing, and connection. We are committed to the ideas of shared labor and resources, inclusion, open-mindedness, non-judgment, acceptance, personal freedom, support, and simple living.

We aspire for a small homestead inspired community built on principles of sustainability. We will attempt to create a home that lives in harmony with the environment, protects native plants and animals, and does not use resources faster than we can replenish them. Our community will be integrated with the land, and we will source our materials for building mainly on-site. We will have our own water supply (fresh water spring) and work towards being completely self-sufficient (growing food, raising animals, water collection, solar power, and composting toilets).

We believe in non-violent communication, compassion and radical honesty. Our goal is to contribute to a positive transformation of the world through open and honest communication. We believe in Anarchy, however, each Member will be held to their own Personal Responsibility. This means: committing to shared labor, attending community meetings, accepting the consequences of your actions, and resolving and amending whatever harm your actions might cause. We will participate in circle processes, regular meetings, and practice positive conflict resolution methods.

We are accepting of a wide range of alternative lifestyles, and are seeking Members who are open-minded, non-judgmental and accepting of other’s beliefs and choices and are looking for others who would like to join together to form an Intentional Community

Currently, we are 29/F, 31/M, 22/F

NOTE: We are still in the process of purchasing the land. We intend to launch in June 2018. We are working on building a website with an application for Residency.
