Mission: community based farm stewardship
From www.ic.org/directory/goosefoot/:
The property where I live was purchased with the intent of creating an intentional community on a farm. The original partners and perspective partners are no longer interested in the project, so I am searching for new members. The community will own 83 acres of mostly arable land that will be rented to members and non-members with priority given to members. Originally we decided to build a new house with a shared space and private living modules. Construction has not begun yet, so any new members would have influence on the design and operation of the living arrangement. I hope to eventually convert the current house into a restaurant and/or bakery that primarily uses product grown on site. The owner of the property will pay for the construction of the new house, and members will buy into the community. Financing may be available for anyone who can't afford the initial investment.- Address
