Meet the neighbors:

Mission: The Rudolf Steiner Fellowship Community exists to provide a healthy way of life for everyone living here. We provide housing for our coworkers and support them financially depending on their needs. We want to provide everyone with opportunities to be engaged in all the activities of life long learning and to enjoy in the company of others all the cultural events taking place in the course of the year. We believe that a rhythm of work and artistic activity lead to continuing health and awareness of the meaning of life on earth.

From www.ic.org/directory/the-rudolf-steiner-fellowship-community/:

Founded in 1066 by an anthroposophical doctor and his wife for the purpose of providin an intergenerational therapeutic work-based community centered around the care of the elderly. Our children attend the neighborhood Waldorf School. We have a farm where we raise organic produce, our cows supply milk & yogurt, our workshops help with raising funds. Coworkers are usually either primarily interested in care giving, farming/gardening, or in supportive activities such as cooking, cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, vehicle maintenance, etc. We are very busy and have special laws allowing the elderly to participate at all levels. We welcome volunteers. We offer a farm internship. Families are of course welcome.
