West Los Angles Community House

Mission: Our mission is to be a welcoming, inclusive, family oriented community house in West Los Angeles. We are cooperating and collaborating in order to maximize our personal and professional effectiveness while increasing our quality of life and sense of belonging. Through "think tank" planning we plan to grow out of this house and repurpose or customize a larger community property.

After many years of searching the world for a community to join, we have regrouped at our launchpad property in West LA and decided to form our own!

We are kid/pet/LGBTG/musician-friendly community open to all faiths. Our values are progressive, and we are very grounded in practical day-to-day family life; learning to grow as human beings together in a collaborative and loving environment. We are inclusive of ALL-ternative lifestyles and family styles. Burners, makers and activists are more than welcome.

Our home is in Rancho Park, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in West Los Angeles. The main 7-bedroom house is spacious, with 3 full bathrooms and a large kitchen for communal meals. Across the compound-like yard is a garage housing a workshop and a 1 bed/1 bath cottage.

We are short walk to the Expo line, Trader Joe's, and all shopping, etc at the Westside Pavilion. The Santa Monica pier is just a 10 minute train ride away, and we are in close proximity to both UCLA & USC.

We currently have two rooms available in the main house, and additional rooms will be available starting in July, and are inviting those who are interested to connect with us.

We aim to be a welcoming, inclusive, family-oriented community house in West Los Angeles. Our mission is to cooperate and collaborate both personally and professionally to maximize our effectiveness and sense of belonging while at the same time increasing our quality of life and making a positive impact in the greater world.

This is just the beginning. We are looking long-term to acquire and customize or re-purpose a larger community property to accommodate our ever-growing family. All that's missing, is you.
