Meet the neighbors:

Mission: Let’s try to reverse the negative impacts on our Mother Earth by living sustainably, growing (and raising) our own food and medicine.

From www.ic.org/directory/evergreen-acres/:

I always kid that we are raising two tree-hugging anarchist homesteaders. Little does anyone know, I am not joking.

We are Dani and Andrew, an ambitious duo, here to gather our vibe tribe to join us on the journey toward a sustainable (eco) village in Mason County, WA.

As it sits right now, we have not yet acquired any land to further this venture. We are currently homesteading on a small rural lot outside of Shelton. We plan to place our home(stead) on the real estate market September 1st, 2017, although we are actively searching for land now.

We have been playing with this idea lately – there’s a 40-acre property for sale (in Mason County) that’s already sectioned off into 6 parcels. We are looking for four other like-minded families to join us in the purchase of this property. One parcel (the smallest: 5 acres) will be shared between the five families, and used primarily as animal pasture, animal housing, garden plots, etc. This property is within walking distance of a freshwater pond, as well as a saltwater inlet.

The 6 parcels are all different sizes: (in order of tax ID numbers) 5 acres shared, 6.18 acres, 7.45 acres, 7.26 acres, 7.35 acres, 5.88 acres. You must be able to pay $50,000 to $60,000 for one of these parcels plus 1/5 of the 5-acre parcel. There is already a gated entrance, private road, power/internet, and home sites are established. Side note: we have chosen the 7.35 acre parcel.
