Meet the neighbors:

Mission: To provide a shared household where members can rely on one another, form bonds and with the saved time and resources of sharing, have more free time to enjoy the important things in life. We prioritize social connection, feasts of real food together and playing together. Hiking, sports, movie nights, board game nights and art nights are held in the household.

Healthy and balanced living is important to us. Mindfulness practices are part of the routine of several members already, and we use circadian lighting throughout the entire house to support everyone's hormonal balance.

From www.ic.org/directory/petawawa-tribal-shared-housing/:

We have been interested in living in an intentional community and eco villages but modern circumstances of career mean we live in Petawawa, Ontario. So we decided to move in to a shared housing unit. We made friends over the last year and now the members of that shared household have gotten together to share a complete house together.

While we aren't right out in nature, its a 5-minute walk to the rapids and there's plenty of wilderness about. In this house we love cooking, eating and playing together. There is a big table where we share feasts and meals of real food and love playing board games.

Let's call Petawawa Tribal an unintentional group that decided to form an intentional community.

It's a bilingual household, so if you need practice then we'll be happy to oblige.

Members come from diverse backgrounds but are respectful, helpful and friendly.
