Mission: Pi'ilani is a Permaculture Farm on the Big Island of Hawai'i dedicated to growing food sustainably, and Pono (righteous) interactions between individuals and the land.

From www.ic.org/directory/piilani/:

Pi'ilani Farm & Community is a place for inspired individuals to come and practice sustainable living in a community setting. There is a core group of members who live here full time, and we also accept farm helpers on a temporary basis. We also have protocols in place to allow appropriate individuals to join us in our efforts for the long term.

Our primary focus is to live sustainably and empower each other the be the best humans we can be. We have a very good balance of hard work and hard play. On the Big Island there are always lots of fun activities with easy access to the ocean and weekly ecstatic dance events, as well as other community festivals and events that happen throughout the year.

We hold weekly community meetings to discuss everything needed for us to function as a healthy and thriving community, and to allow the space for conscious communication and clearing of emotions as they arrive.

Once a week on Tuesday we host a community work day where anyone from our extended local community can come and work with us on the land. We serve a huge all-local lunch and help educate the community on our various projects.
