Meet the neighbors:

Mission: Some of us are here to deepen our relationship with the earth. Some are looking to foster community rooted in love and interdependence. And some of us are just happy to have some good people to live and share a home with. Some things that members would consider a big part of their lives: rewilding, foraging, permaculture, music, anarchy, love, sharing, community, activism, herbal medicine, education, human ecology, alternative economics, celebration, food, and compost. Some of us identify as queer and we're all queer friendly.

From www.ic.org/directory/the-nest/:

We're a house of friends and beyond. It's a house that was falling apart and a few of us bought together to take some solid steps towards living our dreams. We've fixed most of it up and now we're a house of 6. There's a tiny jungle of a yard, full of beautiful flowers and wildness. Our incredibly cool neighbors have some land that they've offered us to grow food on in exchange for some of the bounty, so some of us do that.

Our dreams as individuals are big and intertwine all over. While we share this somewhat typical house nestled within the grip of civilization, most of us plan on a future of living with the land in the near or distant horizon. We're not sure what this house means to the bigger picture but we're pretty sure it's important.

And so our community is "Established" in the sense that here we are, sharing this space together, but still "Forming" in that we don't totally know what the future holds for us.
