Meet the neighbors:

Mission: We are creating a village of like-minded families and individuals dedicated to living in ecological, social, economic, and spiritual harmony. We embrace the principals of permaculture, holistic healthcare, and compassionate communication.

From www.ic.org/directory/fertile-roots-ecovillage/:

We're creating a haven where we can seek the still peace of nature to rediscover our roots. We strive to create a culture of compassionate communication and open mindedness. Our community encourages personal responsibility and emotional maturity. We strive to give back to the earth what we take and to be an example of balance to the world, as we endeavor to achieve balance, ourselves. Our land will be inhabited including the principles of co-housing, to encourage cohesion. Members will build their own homes using alternative building methods, passive house standards, and/or reclaimed and sustainably harvested materials. We will, also, utilize a system of time banking to encourage giving and receiving between members.
We are so blessed to live in the the oldest mountain region in the world. Imagine the wisdom we can glean from communing with our world's matriarch! We have the fortune, as well, to live close to an veteran intentional community, a vineyard, 30 min from a city and 30 minutes from an artist community. It doesn't get too much better than this!
