Mission: We're on a multi phase path to an ultimate goal
Finally picking up momentum and VERY excited about it!
1) We're currently establishing a group residence in Eagle Rock. We've currently consolidated our group to two houses in the same neighborhood.
2) Our next step will be to stabilize a group fund which will go towards purchasing property. This is being done through a combination of personal endeavors, group projects, and fund raising events.
3) Once our financial goal is reached we will reevaluate and determine whether we will first buy a house in Los Angeles or buy rural property elsewhere(the ultimate goal is to buy the rural property regardless of whether we buy an urban/suburban house or not).
4) We will purchase a piece of land that will be shared among all members of the community. There we will establish our final residence where we can farm our own food, build our own society, and finally feel comfortable having and raising children.

We are a family. Perhaps one can better refer to us as a tribe.We usually all spend our Friday evenings together either working on projects, discussing philosophy, sharing meals, spending quality time together. We host regular meetings that anyone is welcome to attend; Tuesday night open lab(where we build solar panels, mesh networks, etc), Thursday night discussion meetings(where we usually discuss philosophy), Sunday morning art classes(figure drawing/painting, etc), and many other events in between(Including a monthly dinner outing to get to know one another).
We're working towards establishing our community one step at a time through a series of community building events and fund raisers.
