Anahata Village

Mission: To offer a place where residents can express their essential gifts and guests may learn new ways to help to re-balance their health.

Anahata Village is currently in creation stages. At the moment, but we are hoping to find land just outside of lovely Eugene, Oregon. We have a small, but growing group of kind and caring people who share the dream of creating this special place to live and offer services.

Our Vision:
We imagine a community which will function in several layers. The first, being an intentional community which does not stand in judgement of religion, disability or lifestyle, but accepts people into the group based on how well they mesh with the others in the community as well as their enthusiasm about our goal to help others.

Anahata Village hopes to become self-sustaining, paying for itself and offering a salary for its members. We plan to do this through a holistic retreat which will offer many services to the public in order to help others to maintain health or to bring it back to a state of balance. Our focus will be classes and seminars for those with chronic disease such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease, but we will also offer ongoing classes for health maintenance, such as yoga and meditation.

A labor of love:
Anahata would like to offer work to its residents which they might feel passionate about doing. If you have always wanted to teach herbal classes or yoga, build cob houses or greenhouses, work with animals or cultivate organic gardens, we hope to offer you a way to earn your living doing those things that you really love. We will also have room for volunteers and workers who are not Anahata residents, as well as residents who prefer to keep the job they had before they moved onto the land. However, we would like to see some contribution to the whole if you choose to live with us. Otherwise, you might be happy living elsewhere as we want people who are excited about what we stand for and want to help.

*Organic, alkaline meals as well as alkaline cooking classes

*Tiny house and cob house building

We will offer apprenticeships for those interested in the possibility of becoming a member. Also, coursework credit may be given for volunteering with us.
