Mission: he ARCH properties are owned by landlords that volunteer their buildings to be involved in the program, agreeing to make less than market profit on renting out buildings in return for being a part of creation of more affordable housing. Within each building, there is a co-op created and run by residents, so the dynamic is different household to household. The end goal is creating mixed income neighborhoods that more equally distribute urban resources.
From www.ic.org/directory/arch-rva/:
ARCH is a not for profit co-op formation project designed to create more affordable housing that encourages residents to form bonds with each other and with the surrounding community.- Address
