Down-to-Earth EcoShire

Mission: Civilization 2.0 is what Down-To-Earth Ecovillage is building.

We own a 35 acre EcoShire in Southern California and plan to expand to 80 acres as we grow to a membership number between 25 and 60. We are off the grid and rural, but easy access and close to big cities. All of our development will be made to integrate and blend into the environment. We are building Earth-Integrated housing, community center, food forest, permaculture gardening, natural swim pool, and too many things to list here. Members pay for a membership, pay low monthly dues to cover taxes and insurance, and contribute a minimum of 4 hours per week toward community determined projects. Contact us for more information!
