Our housing cooperative consists of 37 members living in three large historic houses within walking distance of downtown Iowa City and the University of Iowa campus.

Our members pay rents that vary by room size and are required to complete a minimum of 16 hours of work a month for the collective. This work includes cooking, shopping, maintenance, management, meetings, and committee work. By doing this work ourselves we are able to enjoy quality living space at rental rates roughly 20% less than the average in the area.

We strongly value community and host a number social gatherings and fun events throughout the year. We strive maintain a safe and inclusive space for all members.

All members are allowed to attend, speak, and vote at our bi weekly board meetings where we make consensus decisions about running the cooperative.
