Do you want to walk, bike or bus to beaches, a food co-op, and the heart of a cultural and historic small town? Do you want to live in a community of people dedicated to living in harmony with each other and with the earth?

We are a small-town, multigenerational EcoVillage on 7.5 acres in Port Townsend, WA, a historic seaport of 10,000 residents. We have a core group of a 35 active participants: 25 adults and 8 children, live on site. We are flourishing and still growing with the families who joined us this past summer and the spaces that are available for more people to join.

Currently (January 2018) there is a 4-BR home for sale on one of the twelve 4,000 square-foot lots. Asking price $399K. There is also one undeveloped lot available for sale/homebuilding for $110K, which could be shared among two owners. A leased site for a tiny house is available for $300/month.

The house for sale is south facing & energy-efficient, has foot thick sculpted walls and decorative tree bodies, a “cook’s” kitchen, and a spacious entry room. Contact us for more information.

Purchase of both the undeveloped lot and house for sale includes ownership of 1/12th of 7-acres of common land/buildings with many amenities, including a large home whose rental income keeps our assessments currently at zero.

We have rental units that occasionally open up for new occupants.

Residents share ample common gardens, fields, woods, a large 3,600 square foot shop/art/recreation center. We have extensive food gardens, and are currently designing a common house we hope to begin building in 2018. We plan to use 3 acres of our best land to grow food using permaculture, restorative agriculture principles, and other organic methods, and may develop cottage industries. We embrace and seek diversity and especially welcome families with children.

We share once or twice weekly meals and celebrate solstice and other diverse earth and life cycle days together. Fun and connecting activities happen often - recent examples: crafting weekend, hula-hooping, storytelling gathering, gifting circle, food preserving.

Structured as a Home Owners Association, our members own their own lots and the homes they build on them, and thus have access to mortgages, federal tax deductions and tax credits for renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives. HOA members collectively own a large 2-kitchen home with 4 bedrooms and one of the lots on which there are 3 rental spots for Tiny Houses, one still available. In 2017 one lot was developed with a duplex for affordable family rental housing.

The available lot costs $110,000. This does not include the cost of a dwelling, but does include one twelfth ownership of common land and buildings.

We offer tours once a month prior to our monthly community meeting on the second Sunday of each month, and can sometimes arrange for a tour on another date. Call us to arrange a visit!
