LEAPNOW: Transforming Education

LEAPNOW is a community devoted to wholeness-based education and conscious living for all ages. Our 10-acre residential community with 10 residents (called Maacama) is 90 miles north of San Francisco in Sonoma County's wine country. LEAPNOW runs soul-centered education programs for ages 17 and up that combine international immersion, college credit, conscious community and language study. Our LEAPYEAR program is a full academic year long and is devoted to inner exploration and world travel. LEAPYEAR2 builds on the first year program and teaches the facilitation of transformative education. Body Visible/Body Invisible (BVBI) is a year-long training in authentic movement. During retreats on our land, students learn conscious living skills and create conscious community, engage in rites of passage, and learn to cook, bake, build, and create. LEAPNOW is devoted to empowering students of all ages to "be the change" they wish to see in the world.
