Nashville West Cohousing

Nashville is growing and expanding and the number of people now desiring cohousing is increasing. The first community was formed, built and the community moved into it in 2015. Others are now forming in different parts of the city. As a result of the first community development New American Villages was formed to assist new community starts up to see actual fruition of their dream. And is partnering with several groups in the area who have interest. A group from the West side of Nashville is actively looking for land along I-40 from Nashville to Bellevue for a suburban community. And another group is considering other parts of the city. There has been discussion about both senior cohousing and multi-generational cohousing. And there's a desire for affordability.
