Lovely welcome to the JoyfulFamily,
this Raw-Vegan Ecovillage Community
is located in the tropical island
of the Dominican Republic in the caribbean,
in the remote and cozy village called Las Galeras,
surrounded by nature,
on the end of the road of the lush peninsula Samana.
We live here in small houses with tropical gardens
in a quite and relaxed neighborhood,
in walking distance to a
picturesque crystal-clear water family-beach,
with fresh air coming directly from the ocean.

We live joyful holistic conscious spiritual lifestyle,
we play together with the kids
we do 5-rhythms-free-dance
we do contact Improvisation
we dance bachata & other partner dances
we paint
we sing spiritual songs
we are creative & inspiring
we do handcrafts with clay, wood, paper etc..
we do acrobatics, juggling,
hulahoop, pois & slackline
we swim & snorkel in the ocean
we do water-floating (watsu)
we have fun at the beach
we go jogging
we play soccer & beach-volleyball
we do fitness exercises
we practice yoga
we meditate
we do energy work
we do solar-gazing
we enjoy the sunsets
we sit together at bonfires
we plant fruits
we eat a lot of ripe local fruits everyday
we are mindful about our thoughts, speech & expressions
and always try to focus on the positive to enjoy our manifestation
we offer retreats, personal-fitness-training & life-coaching
we speak english, german, spanish and some french

Living here is very comfortable and sustainable
the weather is comfortable warm all year round
with an always clear sky with some clouds here and there
Here is no heating or long clothing necessary
nearly all of our food products come from the island
Everywhere are growing coconut trees, mango trees and bananas
as well as other fruits and vegetables
We used to crystal-clear-sea-water to salt our food
We need only bicycles here
because everything is in walking distance
The streets are so quiet
that we can walk even on the main road
and children can drive everywhere with their bicycle or scooter
The locals are friendly and connective
and we have many friends here
