Meet the neighbors:

Mission: Our group is a mixed-age community of five houses wishing to create and maintain connections with our neighbors while remaining connected to our wider community and world.

From www.ic.org/directory/springlen/:

Springlen is a five-house community that came together in the 80s and has been together ever since. We're organized in a woodsy space right in downtown Chapel Hill, and still have a few original members, as well as some younger families and renters. We have a potluck dinner together once a week, and periodic work days to clear leaves and keep the common space safe. All the land is co-owned by the community, and we each have rights of access over all of it. It's really a lovely place, and so unique to be so close to downtown, with its arts, culture, food, and public transportation.
