Bohemian Utopia

Mission: We are committed to the ideas of shared labor and resources, inclusion, open mindedness, acceptance, non judgment, mutual aid and support, egalitarianism, open and respectful communication, consensus decision making, non-violence, and harmonious and simple living.

We are accepting and inviting of a wide range of alternative lifestyles and peoples (atheists, pagans, agnostics, wiccans, pansexuals, LGBTQ, polyamorous, sex positive) and expect all members to be equally accepting. You do not need to be or share in any of these, but you do need to be respectful of other’s choices.

To that end we are seeking members whose own beliefs, opinions, and ideologies are not so strong that they prevent you from getting along with others who may not share your views. We prefer members who are open minded, non judgmental, liberal minded, progressive, and accepting of other’s views/beliefs/lifestyle choices.

We aim to achieve a better life for each member through cooperation, collaboration, and communal effort- together we can achieve more than any of us could individually. We believe that by working together in a shared vision each of us are better able to have a life that is less stressful, more enjoyable, happier, healthier, and of deeper intrinsic value.

While we do not as a rule exclude anyone for their beliefs/ideologies please understand that we are not a religious/spiritual, ecovillage, or back to the land movement based community. We’re looking for bohemians, intellectuals, poets, hippies, burners, beatniks, philosophers, free thinkers, free spirits, nature lovers, and wild souls.

We’re especially interested in members who want to live in a supportive community of like minded individuals where the exchange of ideas, intellectual discourse, collaboration, and meaningful interaction contribute to personal growth and community.
