Meet the neighbors:

Mission: We are working on a Vision, Values and Mission statement - but so far have agreed that we will work together to create a sense of togetherness while supporting individual needs. We will share resources to lessen financial and environmental impact. We welcome diversity of all kinds. We will work together to create an evolving community which will be flexible for growth and change. We strive for a joyful home full of laugher and friendship.

From www.ic.org/directory/somerville-cohousing-community/:

We are forming a community in Somerville on a site that can accommodate approximately 28 units. The property is adjacent to Porter and Davis Squares and about one mile from Harvard Square. The Boston Transit Red Line is available at all three squares and the Green Line extension will be coming to Powder House square - which is a walk away. We will have underground parking and access to the community bike path. There will be some retail spaces that possibly could generate revenue to offset HOA costs. We will have common space and the units will be small to moderate size.
