Seattle Cohousing

Mission: Create a mutually profitable housing community that provides affordable urban housing options in collaboration with community supported nonprofit services for the community in which models and continues to develop a diversity of affordable communities.
Our vision is to offer multigenerational cohousing within the city limits of Seattle that is affordable to Seattle’s diverse socio-economic community. The community would model sustainability and collaboration Create an intentional community that cares for its members through all stages of life.

We are an intentional community looking to develop a multi-generational coop/cohousing space with affordable options within the Seattle city-limits. Seattle is a safe haven city with unique and diverse populations that can early 80% less than the mean income. As a teacher and local for over 20 years myself, I personally feel the strain housing can put on individuals, families, immigrants, and seniors. These populations need safe affordable options with a network of people that come from diverse backgrounds, economic status, and an interest to give back to community.
