Seven Springs Village

Located just outside of Winston-Salem, we are core group of excited families and individuals looking to preserve and support the broader mission of a retired girl scout camp by building an eco-friendly village. We are a cohousing community and plan to build our homes on a small section of Seven Springs, the former girl scout camp.

Our rural cohousing community will have 25 to 35 individually-owned homes grouped close together and will be designed to maximize walk-ability and sustainability. Our homes (a combination of single family homes, townhomes, and/or multifamily buildings) will be clustered around a large common house where our multi-generational and diverse group of families and friends will share common meals and group events. We also hope to include other cohousing norms in our common house like guest rooms, a large commercial kitchen, a yoga/dance studio, a space for child care, and a workshop.

We also aim to grow our a community of friends and supporters of Seven Springs Lodge and Retreat whose mission is "To help foster a connection between our surrounding communities, the great outdoors, and our State and Local Parks by providing group camping experiences and Leave-No-Trace training close to Winston-Salem, North Carolina."
