Blueprint Geneva Downtown

Mission: Blueprint’s ongoing purpose is to demonstrate the market viability for co-housing developments and sustainable building methods. Blueprint's communities serve as demonstration communities for documenting the development process and costs. That information will be shared on an open-source platform for other developers to copy, use, revise, and improve.

This 14 townhouse community is centered around a 4000-sq. ft. community house in the middle of downtown Geneva, on the shore of Seneca Lake in the middle of the Finger Lakes Wine region. The community is currently accepting applicants and is open to residents of all ages, incomes, and interests.

These 480-sq ft. to 960-sq.ft. homes are grid-connected but are completely self-sufficient for electricity, heat and water. They feature modern conveniences such as in-floor radiant heat, designer kitchens, vaulted ceilings, central AC, and maintenance-free exteriors.

The community has shared resources including a community lounge, kitchen, dining room, theatre, storage units, workshop, and guest rooms. The community also will feature an electric-vehicle-sharing program.
