The Garden of Autism will be primarily a farming community where 50 autistic adults will live and work alongside support staff. There will be many other features as well and an emphasis placed on self-sustaining practices. Both New Jersey and Pennsylvania are being considered. It will be determined by the state that provides the most support in terms of Medicare and Social Security subsidies.
