Purani Valley

Mission: Our mission is for each community member to become an individual with abilities and characteristics diverse from others, yet to express himself/herself in unity and partnership with others. We believe this to be our soul's mission on earth.

Purani Valley is a community that began forming in the beautiful Matutu Valley in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It began to take root by a shared vision of creating a community where people can develop their own gifts from a base of love, creative expression, art, music, poetry, and self-development.

With much attention to detail, the construction began over 15 years ago to create structures with recycled materials, beautiful gardens, and an overall atmosphere of serene practicality. The environment is such that one can cultivate his/her gifts and receive healing through yoga, massage, gestalt, ayurvedic, culinary arts, baking, candlemaking, papermaking, beekeeping, farming, herbalism, and aromatherapy.

Multidisciplinary healing programs are created to revive the body, engage the mind and uplift the spirit. The environment is designed to accommodate groups for workshops and to promote authentic and true connection to each individual through music, dance, poetry, yoga, philosophy and education.
