Mission: We seek to flesh out what it means to cause the kingdom flourishing of our neighbors and neighborhood through active, LIFE ON LIFE intentional relationships. Some of us have businesses that only hire locals, especially women and immigrants. Others of us teach, some have started their own school for women/girls, others are health care workers, or work with recycling. We have weekly times together focused on community, encouragement, scripture and prayer. Set monthly or twice monthly meal times also occur plus spontaneous meals together and with our neighbors.
From www.ic.org/directory/hub-hamt-drbrn/:
We are a group of 16 adults (aged 22-70) and also 11 kids who desire to interdependently share, support and cause the flourishing of our 30+ language 2 square mile neighborhood by being good, intentional neighbors to our mostly immigrant and Muslim neighbors and friends. We do initiate helping one another and our neighbors in many tangible, practical ways. Some of us live together in shared housing, others live as single family units.- Address
