About:
The Alliance of Intentional Communities Australia (AICA) is an independent, not-for-profit association established to bring together and assist individuals and groups in their pursuit of developing fulfilling, sustainable lives within and supported by the wider community.
We believe this vision can be achieved through intentional communities (IC) which accept that all living things are connected. These IC co-create healthy environments, practicing the values of caring, respecting, cooperation, taking responsibility and encouraging the highest human potential. They are examples of how we can contribute to improving the health of our world.
Description
Our aim is to share information on successful intentional communities and explore alternatives to find more harmonious ways in satisfying human needs through achieving a balance between the physical, spiritual and the environment. To foster existing and create built environments which provides for our basic needs such as food and shared resources in a way that enhances the health and well-being of the natural environment and the community through an optimised work-life balance. We aim to enhance existing and co-create much needed spaces within the metropolitan area that will contribute towards enhancing energy for ourselves, others and the planet.
- AICA will be supporting communities that aims to live in balance with our planet.
Our non for profit group consists of those who are passionate, motivated, ready and have the expertise and connections to participate in the visioning, planning, building and celebration of these communities.
As a group we will consciously support the creation and manifesting of preferred lifestyles based on satisfying our human needs in a manner that reflects our responsibilities as stewardship partners with all of creation on this planet.
We welcome those who share these beliefs and feel that they would like to get actively involved in the projects that are forming in Adelaide and surrounding area.
Join our page for project updates, upcoming meet-ups and future workshops and contact us on how to get involved.
