Fellowship for Intentional Community: Our mission is to support and promote the development of intentional communities and the evolution of cooperative culture.
PA Co-ops: The Northeast Co-op Database was initiated by the farm families who own Cabot Creamery Co-operative in early 2015 with the Cooperative Development Institute. Additional funding to CDI for the development of the PA database was donated by: Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement. The data was initially compiled by Cooperative Economics Alliance of NYC (CEANYC) based on census work done by KDC Cooperative Solutions and Solidarity Economy researcher Craig Borowiak.

Central PA Community Housing

Meet the neighbors:

Mission: Houseasaurus is a housing cooperative located at 833 W. College Ave. in State College, Pennsylvania. Our members include undergraduates, grad students, and non-students alike. We strive to uphold our shared values in the house and the surrounding community: social responsibility, environmental sustainability, queer positivity, and egalitarianism. These four pillars are the common ground on which we base our decisions, which we make by consensus.

From www.ic.org/directory/central-pa-community-housing/:

Central PA Community Housing (the co-op/ Houseasaurus) is a housing cooperative located in State College, Pennsylvania that formed in 2005.

Currently, CPCH occupies one rented property near Pennsylvania State University. We host house dinners Sunday - Thursday at 7 pm which are open to the community, as well as boarders (individuals who pay to eat dinners with us but do not live in the house).

We also host Community Cafe every Friday night at 6 pm, which is a discussion group or workshop hosted by a different house member every week. Past Conspiracy Cafes have included topics such as gender equality, consumerism, encryption and free software, and spoken word.
