Have you ever felt drawn to something different than the status quo? Does the American dream not quite ring true for you? Do you dream of a community of peaceful Christ followers that live simply, do good, and love others without all the dogma and legalism? Are you passionate about Jesus and want desperately to find a group of believers who want to return to the love and passion of the early church but don't feel comfortable with the denominations you've been a part of? Maybe it's time for something new. I personally have an undying passion for Christ and his church, but I find that every time I'm "church" I feel like I’m watching a production, and once I'm away from the noise and the lights and music, I feel emptier than ever... my vision is an intentional community of believers that strives to reflect the early church. I’m not quite sure what it will look like, but here are a few ideas.
• Co-housing and daily communal prayer and worship. Shared chores and at least one meal daily.
• Ministering to the community in areas of homelessness, social work, maybe eventually a food pantry.
• various outreaches
• sustainability and ecological stewardship
• A diverse, multicultural, group of Jesus lovers from all walks of life!

There have been a few to attempt what I’m dreaming up, but before you write it off as another cult, look up Jesus people and the simple way, some others have the same idea and are doing it right! Together we can make this happen!
