Mission: eating together, sharing life

From www.ic.org/directory/the-feedbag-ann-arbor/:

Established in 2010 on Ann Arbor's Old West Side, our home has been dubbed the Feedbag since we're constantly feeding people.

We're a household of grad students and working professionals, brought to Michigan for work or school, who wanted to live in a place that was more than just roommates passing in the night. We share meals, all food and household expenses, and we have herb and vegetable gardens. We've been known to brew our own beer and cure our own bacon and bake bread and sweet things from scratch.

Our house welcomes a steady stream of local friends and out of town guests, though on an average night, we're more apt to be sitting around chatting quietly over drinks or reading side by side on the couch than out making ruckuses. We're fond of fruit-picking and vegetable growing and bonfires and leisurely dinners and even the occasional house-cleaning extravaganza. Some of us play instruments. Some of us knit, crochet or sew.

We laugh a lot. Sometimes we cry. Mostly, we just enjoy doing life together.
