Mission: Small rural residential homestead in the start up stages.

From www.ic.org/directory/golden-girls-on-the-hill/:

We are a small group of women (and our men or families) who live on a 1/4 acre homestead. We have 2 residential buildings with the 3rd on the way (build to suit). As our name suggests we tend to be mature females who are living and drawn together to support and be there in our golden years. We tend to be active, artistic and spiritual while enjoying living, planning, playing and planting or tending to our lives and families. We are active in the town's greater community which lends itself to our way of living. We are socially involved and are seen by the locals as great examples of an alternative lifestyle. We are located in a quaint and established neighborhood in a small rural town about 45 miles east of Austin, TX. We are called the Queen of the Hill, as the neighborhood is called "The Hill" (Mt. Pleasant) by the locals. When the 84 households enter The Hill they must pass this house which happens to be located on a corner of the only 2 streets that come and go from this neighborhood. Also the house is located above the street level and while we are sitting on our porches we view all who come and go from our 'queendom'. Too funny!
