Mission: Rescue this amazing Place

From www.ic.org/directory/lake-view-community-2/:

Dear Community Seekers,

UPDATE:
This specific house was sold unfortunately to a single family because almost nobody replied to this post and thus I could not find people to buy it with. It was a one of a kind place, but there will be other special places, perhaps even closer to the city. I am still interested very much in finding people to start a community with in a similar setting. Thus, let us form a community of like-minded people, agree on a plan and start shopping for a place ! The rest of my description still holds except for anything specific to this - now gone- location.
(end of UPDATE).

I am trying to start a new community from scratch and find 8-10 people who like to live together in an egalitarian community and to buy this truly one-of-a-kind place in Seattle's North Matthews Beach Area (as mentioned above, it is now sold and therefore we have to find something else) together so that we can live free from rampant Seattle rent increases and have a piece of paradise.

My vision is for a multi-generational group of idealistic, curious, open-minded and emotionally invested down to earth people with devotion to good and honest communication (for instance using NVC - nonviolent communication as a guiding principle), who value environmental stewardship, support, serenity, nature, gardening, good food and healthy living and inclusiveness that supports individual identity choice, yet stresses community-mindedness and cooperation and mutual support and a synthesis of spiritual and rational/scientific world view.

If 8-10 people bought the house together, the mortgage may be as low as $320-$400/person (at 5% interest rate for 30 year mortgage). The key is a willingness for community and unfortunately also a good amount of savings, but yet a fraction of what it would take to buy a house by yourself in the Seattle area, much less a house like this.

There is very little time left before this house may end up sold to yet another one-percenter or a sliced up by a greedy developer.

The owners would instead truly love to sell it to a community and keep it available for the common good.
