Mission: - Recovery of Tradition - Authentic Leaders - Sustainable Communities
Our desire is to participate to the global movement currently appearing in our world. This movement, which has long been prophesized by many ancient and authentic traditions and cultures, foresees a great change in humanity; a shift of consciousness which marks the beginning of a Golden Age.

This new era defines new ways of relating in harmony with life, nature and each other in the consciousness of our real identity and human purpose. The time of this prophecy is now emerging with more and more people drawn to living an ecological and self-sufficient life-style within a community or clan, like our ancestors did.
We understand that by serving this global project of humanity each one may find their personal healing within a particular collective weaving. Therefore, our aim is to serve the magic of the healthy dynamic of life, woven between families, communities and projects for a flourishing new society of healthy and awake individuals.
In order to complete with this, our primary focus is dedicated to help people encounter their true motivations and hidden potentialities to serve life and its sacred global movement as an authentic leader, educator, or medicine person.

From www.ic.org/directory/project-taruka/:

We are a culturally diverse community living in the majestic Sacred Valley of Peru (near Pisac, Cusco).
Our community started to appear about 20 years ago and is now well established.

Our main service is running our formation center (of the mystic arts and sciences of life) which works with ancestral traditions and sacred plant wisdom to make appear leaders, medicine people and a web of communities inter-related around the world.

Our projects include Shamanism, Leadership, Self-Sufficiency (e.g. organic agriculture, eco-construction such as adobe and tipi, permaculture, ethical trade), Natural Therapy & Medicine, Education, Ecological Science, Inter-Community Weaving, among many more.

We welcome people to encounter our community and projects through our programs. These programs particularly suit those who want to establish their own eco-community, be a leader or shaman, develop themselves in particular science such as medicinal plants, or encounter the skills & knowledge to be a valued member of an established community.

We offer a long-term formation process (with or without medicine ceremony) where one can eventually integrate into the community as a family member. We have various sites and lands for the expansion of our projects and community and take on a few people each year to integrate into our community on a permanent or semi-permanent basis.

Our community functions on the base of a traditional clan structure (based on the Sacred or Medicine Wheel) which puts emphasis on the dynamic of the circle. We work with several authentic traditions under a universal and inclusive vision.

Shamanic/ spiritual activities include sweat lodge, communal chanting and meditation, and sacred plant ceremonies.

All those staying at our community must abstain from consuming meat, poultry, fish, drugs and alcohol on the premises and follow community rules.
