Mission: We offer quality education, training and work experience and facilitate self-directed community inclusion and employment for people with complex needs.

From www.ic.org/directory/motse-wa-badiri-camphill/:

Camphill Community Trust was established in Botswana in 1974 to provide services to people with special needs. It includes the following three divisions, all located at the village of Otse in the South East District.

Rankoromane School offers residential care and primary school education for children with special needs from the ages of 5 to 14 years. Enrolment is currently 61 of which 50 are residential and 11 come to school daily from the local community.

Legodimo Youth Training offers pre-vocational training and support to people leaving the school and other young people with special needs. The training includes vocational skills such as horticulture, catering and crafts, functional skills such as literacy, numeracy and IT as well as personal / social skills. Enrolment is currently 30 students. It has a two year programme that prepares learners for further training at Motse wa Badiri Training.

Motse Wa Badiri Training offers further Foundation training in the same three areas of vocational, functional and personal / social skills in a two year programme including preparation and support for the transition back into the community and employment or other sustainable life choices.

Motse wa Badiri Training also offers supported living and sheltered employment for a number of people who feel the need to stay longer. Motse Wa Badiri, which means "the village where people work" in Setswana, is a Camphill Community located in Otse, a rural village 45km south of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. We are a charitable NGO that offers vocational training, employment and where necessary, accommodation and social support, to people with disabilities. We are able to offer these services through the operation of four income generating workshops.
