The Original Citizens of Planet Earth Academy was formed in Athens Greece by world travelers who realized the Earth is our Nation, and we are Citizens first to the planet.Now as a community we are in two places, our home base of Charlotte NC and now our small acreage near Blowing Rock NC where things will really take shape in the coming year. Earth Oriented (Pagan) and all inclusive, we are looking for a few individuals who want to be close to things but have a National Forest as your backyard, which we now have accomplished (Pisgah National Forest). Our goal was for more land, and when this land is paid in full within the next two years the idea is to purchase more land that backs up to our property.
Friends have helped to build a small structure I call the Jed Clampett Cabin in the Woods. It has enough space now for 1 person and the dogs- i.e. Me. So building extra tiny is the key right now. Would like to build common kitchen and meeting structures, which I envision small, tiny structures. Would like to build a number of 12X12 size buildings to do what needs to be done, (sleep, eat, and go to bathroom) and spend as much time as possible outside. Permaculture techniques will be learned and used. Organic gardening and composting a must. Self Reliant living OFF GRID and intentional living. This will require work and is not a free ride arrangement to bang your drums, even though we do that once in a while ourselves, meaning all carry the weight of work, not just some.
