Sasona Cooperative

Mission: We provide cooperative housing in Austin and surrounding areas, bringing
affordable tenant-controlled housing to new markets and members. We strive to create an open and diverse community in which all people and lifestyles are accepted and valued. Our Open Membership policy ensures that anyone interested in the benefits of cooperative living has the opportunity to live at Sasona.

Located on an acre of land in the Zilker Park neighborhood, walking distance from the Barton Creek Green Belt and Barton Springs, Sasona offers individual rooms in a spacious, democratically run, member-owned household.

Membership benefits include a home-cooked meal every night of the week, all bills paid, internet connection in every room, free laundry, and a stocked kitchen, as well as shared access to three living rooms and a beautiful backyard.
