To Volunteer in the Swiss Mountains

Schweibenalp, The Center of Unity, is situated In the midst of the Bernese Oberland Alps, on a plateau 1100m (about 3300 feet) above sea level, at the border of the Giessbach Canyon. Archeological findings indicate that in the celtic times, Schweibenalp used to be a place for rituals.

We contribute with our work to the development of a holistic culture that enables a conscious living together among all living beings. As a living and working community we manage the seminar business and the permaculture gardens of Schweibenalp.

In the Center of the Vision stands the Unity of different cultures and religions. The Temple of Unity and the „Dhuni“ have been active places of meditation, prayer and rituals since 1982 and are available for any type of spiritual practice or celebration.

Volunteering on Schweibenalp brings you in contact with different aspects of yourself. You have the oportunity to meet many people different ages and culture, and In working with them you practice openness and flexibility.

You will be working either in kitchen ,Household or Outdoorwork; 6h a day, 5 days a week; free Food and shared accommodation; possibility to take part in community activities; minimal time 4 weeks.
