Elsworth-Bowie Cooperative

Elsworth Co-op is primarily directed toward students, but anyone is welcome to live here. Tenants are required to sign a lease through the end of the current school year. Rent is adjusted to make it as low as possible, because our main focus is on "housing for people--not for profit." Another requirement is that each tenant must work roughly five hours each week toward betterment of the house. Duties vary and include such things as cleaning, cooking, and general maintenance. We have a meal plan that caters to both vegetarians and meat eaters.
