Mission: Joy and Justice

From www.ic.org/directory/stone-soup-cooperative-2/:

Stone Soup is an urban intentional community dedicated to joy and justice. Our members are organizers, teachers, social workers, students, artists, and others doing creative work for social change. We support each other's commitment to social justice with a caring, creative, and fun living environment.

Stone Soup is made up of 38 members in three properties. Two houses are in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood and the third is in the McKinley Park neighborhood. Communal dinners are held five nights a week, including a weekly Tuesday potluck that is open to the public (please call ahead).
