Fiji Organic Village

The Flying Fish Organic Village is already built. we have 5 cottages, a grand bure and yoga centre/meeting hall. We grow fresh, organic food and build traditional buildings from all natural materials collected on the island…fully eco-friendly and beautiful

This quiet paradise is powered by the sun’s radiance and human power, where there are no roads and most certainly no cars. We have ample rainwater storage (10,000 litres, a huge organic plantation, boats, and a community dining room with excellent local chefs. Small cottages (Fijian bures) and large tents shelter locals and visitors comfortably.

Please visit for a few weeks or a few months stay, as a voluntourist.
After a one month trial period you may be invited to enjoy three months and with approval you may be invited to stay up to one year. You can also be an annual visitor, supporter or long-term voluntourist. Currently we aren't welcoming new members or visitors due to structural changes in the community

Operated by native Fijians and extended family, now joined by sustainability educators and other non-Fijians. Currently we are not welcoming additional visitors or members. This cross-cultural alliance supports traditional Fijian culture while teaching sustainability in an organic setting, creating a model and protecting the natural environment, by creating a sustainable economy for the friendly Fijians. This works.
